DAY 2 CASABLANCA – RABAT
  • Welcome to Casablanca - largest city in Morocco
  • Start our journey to Rabat
  • Starts our day with city tour of Rabat – the white imperial city and the administrative capital of the Kingdom
  • Visit Mechouar (ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the blue & whitewashed Oudaya Kasbah, the splendid Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan tower.

CHEFCHAOUEN
DAY 3 CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES
  • This morning, we will drive from Chefchaouen to visit the ruins of Volubilis, an ancient Roman city considered as the ancient capital of the Roman-Berber kingdom of Mauretania
  • Visit the holy city of Moulay Idriss, where the founder of Islam in Morocco is buried. 
  • After, we will continue to Meknes (for lunch), then visit the Ismalian capital.  The old medina is surrounded by a triple thickness of 40 km walls and preserves the most beautiful gate of Morocco - the Bab El Mansour.
  • Visit the Royal Stables of Moulay Ismail and the Jewish quarter. Including the panoramic view of the city
  • Continue our journey onwards to Fes

RABAT
DAY 4 RABAT – CHEFCHAOUEN
  • This morning, we will journey northwards to Chaouen (Chefchaouen in the Berber language) - one of the most beautiful towns of the Rif mountains. It is a mountains massif and the last rampart before the Mediterranean and the Iberian Peninsula, famous for its shady valleys Medina, its white houses with blues doors and wrought iron windows and tile roofs.
  • Enjoy this charming city which has preserved the Arab-Andalusia art and traditions.
  • Visit the medina and local markets of Chaouen, which are animated with traditionally dressed habitants and colorful goods beautifully displayed.

DAY 5 FES
  • Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Fez, the most ancient of the Imperial cities founded in the 8th century by Moulay Idriss II
  • Explore Fez el-Bali (Old Fez), as we stroll through the labyrinthine old medina, admiring the beautiful architecture of the Hispano-Moorish Al-Attarine and Bou Inania Medersas (Koranic University), the Nejjarine Fountain Square and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum
  • Visit the Karaouine Mosque
  • Enjoy a Moroccan lunch in a traditional restaurant in the medina
  • In the afternoon continue to explore the Medina, visiting coppersmith shops, carpets shops & leather shops where you can ask to visit their tannery

DAY 6 FES – IRFANE – MIDELT – MERZOUGA
  • Depart to Erfoud via the mountains and the cedar woods of the middle Atlas passing by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important handicraft center
  • Stop at Midelt for lunch
  • Continue to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley which is dotted with palm trees and is the source for the yearly date festival in Erfoud (a three-day carnival held in Erfoud town every October, just after the date harvest)
  • Transfer to a 4x4 land cruiser (4-5 person in one) and proceed to Merzouga
  • Check in to your hotel by the sand dune for dinner and the night

MERZOUGA
DAY 7 MERZOUGA – RISSANI – TINGHIR – QUARZAZATE
  • Early in the morning, go on a jeep excursion to see the sunrise over the sand-dunes of Merzouga
  • Return to the hotel for breakfast before we continue our journey further south
  • Depart for Rissani, the holy city where Moulay Ali Cherif, ancestor of the Alaouite dynasty is buried
  • Visit the Kasbah of the 17th century and the Ksar Abbar ruins
  • Continue to Tinghir via the Tinjdad road and visit the magnificent Todgha Canyons with rocks reaching an altitude of 250 meters
  • Picture stop at the Dades Canyons
  • Continues to Ouarzazate via the road of the thousand Kasbahs (fortified city) and the Dades Valley which is famous for its roses. (Rose festival falls on the beginning of May annually)

QUARZAZATE
DAY 8 QUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKESH
  • Visit the Kasbahs (fortified city) of Taourirt and Tiffeltout
  • Visit Ait Benhaddou (UNESCO Heritage), the most spectacular Kasbahs in the south of Morocco, which has served as a site for many films like “Lawrence of Arabia”
  • Enjoy lunch at the terrace of a restaurant facing the Kasbah
  • Continue our journey to Marrakech via the Tichka Pass, which offers an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas Mountain chain

MARRAKESH
DAY 9 MARRAKESH
  • Enjoy a full day tour of Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial city, known as the Pearl of the South
  • Visit Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the majestic Koutoubia Minaret and Dar Si Said Museum, officially called the Museum of Moroccan Arts, which features antiques, arms and some of the oldest objects in Marrakech
  • Visit Jardin Majorelle, one of the most visited sites in Morocco. It took French painter Jacques Majorelle (1886-1962) 40 years of passion and dedication to create this enchanting garden in the heart of the “Ochre City”. It was later bough over by Yves Saint Laurent and his partner.
  • Afternoon, visit the souks and handicraft quarters which display varieties of handicrafts and souvenirs
  • Visit the famous Djemâa El Fna open-air market with its non-stop entertainment from various vendors, musicians, acrobats, storytellers, and snake charmers

DAY 10 MARRAKESH – ESSAOUIRA
  • Head west towards the Atlantic Ocean to the fishing town of Essaouira, also known as the former Mogador. Once a Portuguese stronghold, it is also famous for its woodcarving handicraft. Essaouira played a major role in maritime trade, bridging Sub-Saharan Africa with Europe. A multicultural lifestyle thrives here as people of various ethnic groups and religious backgrounds all live in harmony with French and Arab influences shine through in the medina's architecture. 
  • Enjoy fish lunch in a local restaurant
  • The afternoon is free at leisure for you to explore what makes the medina a UNESCO heritage site

ESSAOUIRA
DAY 11 ESSAOUIRA – SAFI – OUALIDIA – EL JADIDA - CASABLANCA
  • Today, return to Casablanca via the coastal road
  • En route, make a short visit at Safi, also a former Portuguese fortress and famous for its pottery art
  • Proceed on to Oualidia for lunch with views of its superb bay
  • Continue to El Jadida and visit the famous Citadel, a reminder of the Portuguese occupation in the 16th century
  • Welcome to Casablanca – Largest city in Morocco!
  • Embark on an orientation tour of the economic capital of economic capital of Morocco, driving through Mohammed V Square, Central Market, the Habbous district and residential district of Anfa & Ain Diab
  • Visit Hassan II Mosque, part of the mosque's floor is made of glass so worshippers can kneel directly over the sea (for Royals only, off-limit to tourists). It is also home to the tallest minaret in the world
