DAY 1 SINGAPORE – CHRISTCHURCH

DAY 2 CHRISTCHURCH – LAKE TEKAPO
  • Welcome to Christchurch – the “Garden City of New Zealand”
  • Christchurch City Sightseeing – Take in the sights of the central city and its surrounds and see how beautiful this city is. Visit Mona Vale, one of Christchurch's most spectacular gardens. Take a leisurely stroll around the park and see why Christchurch is known as 'the Garden City’. See The Bridge of Remembrance which serves as a memorial to those that has participated in both the World War
  • Journey down to Lake Tekapo - Located in the heart of the Mackenzie District in Canterbury. Lake Tekapo gets its intense milky-turquoise color from the fine rock-flour (ground by glaciers) which is suspended in the water. Picturesque by day and dazzling by night, Lake Tekapo is part of a UNESCO Dark Sky Reserve, making it the perfect spot for stargazing.
  • Visit The Church of the Good Shepherd – which is situated on the shores of Lake Tekapo amongst the natural beauty of the lake and the mountains.
  • Bronze Sheepdog - Close to the Church of the Good Shepherd is a well-known bronze statue of a NZ Collie sheepdog. The statue was commissioned by Mackenzie Country residents in recognition of the indispensable role of the sheepdog in their livelihoods.

DAY 3 LAKE TEKAPO – OAMARU – DUNEDIN
  • Oamaru’s Victorian Precinct - Stroll through New Zealand’s best preserved Victorian commercial streetscape
  • Oamaru Whitestone City    – Travel back in time and explore, play and learn more about Oamaru’s history! Set in an original grain store built in 1882 and located within New Zealand’s most complete streetscape of Victorian commercial buildings. Explore heritage street scenes and marvel at all the treasures and trinkets in the general store, barber and dispensary. Hear, see and read about Oamaru’s past, from the early settlement, agricultural pioneers and Victorian fashion to bars, brothels and more.  
  • Stop at the mysterious spherical Moeraki Boulders, according to Māori legend, the boulders are gourds washed ashore from the great voyaging canoe Araiteuru when it was wrecked upon landfall in NZ some 1000 years ago.
  • Continue our journey to Dunedin.
  • Dunedin City Sightseeing: Includes the world’s steepest street – Baldwin Street, the oldest university of New Zealand, The Octagon and the iconic Dunedin Railway Station

DAY 4 DUNEDIN – TE ANAU
  • This morning, we will proceed to Te Anau
  • Stop at Nugget Point/Tokata Lighthouse, one of New Zealand’s oldest lighthouses perched above the famous rocks named by Captain Cook because they looked like pieces of gold.
  • Along the way, make a quick photo stop at the gigantic brown trout at Gore’s town.
  • Continue our journey towards Te Anau

DAY 5 TE ANAU – MILFORD SOUND – QUEENSTOWN
  • Full day Milford Sound Excursion - This morning, Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Travelling along the Milford Road is one of the finest alpine drives in the world. The scenery is exceptional, ranging from broad grassy flats, dense rainforest, and towering mountains to glacial lakes and alpine herb fields.
  • Enjoy a relaxing cruise on this world-famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls
  • Journey back to Queenstown
  • Arrival into Queenstown – The Adventure Capital of the World which is surrounded by majestic mountains and set on the shores of crystal-clear Lake Wakatipu

DAY 6 QUEENSTOWN
  • Today will be free at leisure for you to explore what Queenstown has to offer!

DAY 7 QUEENSTOWN – ARROWTOWN – CROMWELL – WANAKA – TWIZEL
  • This morning, we will bid farewell to Queenstown and visit the Historic Arrowtown, a delightful gold rush village nestled below the beautiful peaks that surround the sparkling Arrow River
  • Kawarau Bridge Bungy Centre – This is the 'World Home of Bungy! Birthplace of the adventurous spirit that has shaped Queenstown’s character. This will be the opportunity to experience bungy jump*. For those not jumping, there is the purpose-built viewing decks that provide a safe and enjoyable area to witness the beautiful scenery and people doing the bungy jump. *Bungy jump will be at passengers’ own expense
  • Mrs Jones Fruit Orchard – New Zealand’s fruits paradise, sample and buy great variety of fresh or dried fruits, nuts, and honey. If time permits, wander through their beautiful English style rose gardens too.
  • Picture stop at the famous That Wanaka Tree which is located at the southern end of Lake Wanaka. The tree sits alone in the water and it’s a popular destination to take Instagram photos. Free time to enjoy Lake Wanaka
  • After lunch, continue our drive to Twizel
  • Check-into our hotel and relax before our tonight dinner.

DAY 8 TWIZEL – MOUNT COOK NATIONAL PARK – CHRISTCHURCH
  • This morning, journey to Mt Cook National Park
  • Time will also be available for those passengers that wish to join optional Helicopter flight for a closer view of Mount Cook and its surrounding peaks
  • Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park visitor Centre, free time to explore the artwork collection, interpretation exhibits and watching video about the area
  • Muller Lake Lookout – Enjoy this 1.8km tracking near The Mount Cook Village. It’s mostly flat and offers the most spectacular views per ounce of energy in all New Zealand
  • After lunch, we will be heading back to Christchurch.
