DAY 2 BEIJING – ULANQAB

Upon arrival, transfer to Ulanqab via high-speed rail. Next, visit the Ulanqab Night Market, a vibrant street filled with photography spots, cultural creations, ethnic accessories, local delicacies, and intangible cultural heritage displays. Experience the charm of Ulanqab and savour authentic flavors. Enjoy the musical performance —Golden Eagle Ulanqab, which beautifully blends folk traditions and artistic expression.

DAY 3 ULANQAB – (1.5HR DRIVE) ULANHADA VOLCANO – (2HR DRIVE) HUITENGXILE GRASSLAND

After breakfast, drive to Ulanhada Volcano, the only known volcano in Inner Mongolia that erupted over 10,000 years ago. Enjoy a special Astronaut suit photoshoot experience, where you can dress like an astronaut and capture stunning photos at the ancient volcanic crater, creating a surreal, space-like setting. Next, continue to Huitengxile Grassland, known as the most beautiful alpine meadow grassland, with vast green pastures and rich Mongolian heritage. Participate in a traditional Mongolian welcoming ceremony – Milk Wine Ritual, where local herders greet visitors with a hada (ceremonial scarf) and milk wine, showcasing their warm hospitality. Experience Mongolian folk activities, such as learning Mongolian script, trying on traditional Mongolian attire, brewing authentic Mongolian milk tea, and sampling butter and dried milk curds. As night falls, enjoy a bonfire party, where you can dance and sing with the locals under the starry sky, immersing yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of the grasslands.

DAY 4 HUITENGXILE GRASSLAND – (2HR DRIVE) HOHHOT

Visit Huanghuagou Geological Park, where the summer landscape transforms into a sea of golden flowers, once a battleground for ancient nomadic tribes. Upon arriving in Hohhot, explore Dazhao Temple, the most renowned Tibetan Buddhist temple in the city, housing an exquisite silver Buddha statue with intricate carvings. Stroll through Saishang Old Street, a historic Ming and Qing-era Street filled with local crafts and specialty stores. End the day at Tongshun Alley Food Street, where you can sample Inner Mongolian snacks such as milk skin and dried fruit delicacies.

Explore the General's Office Museum (subject to opening hours; alternative visits may be arranged if closed on Mondays). Thereafter, visit the Mengliang Ethnic Cultural Park, the largest production hub for ethnic Mongolian handicrafts. Browse exquisite hand-painted scarves, leather artwork, and other traditional crafts while gaining insight into Mongolian culture.
