DAY 2 CHENGDU - MT EMEI
Stay at 5* Emeishan Tianjing Resort Hotel or equivalent
After breakfast, head to Huanglongxi Ancient Town, renowned for its rich water culture and included in the "New Ten Sights of Chengdu," becoming a new landmark for Chengdu tourism. The core area consists of one lake, two rivers, three temples, seven streets, and nine alleys, with 76 well-preserved traditional houses and three courtyards. Notable cultural relics include Jinhua Temple, the Three County Yamen, and the ancient opera stage. A special Hanfu Experience will allow you to dress in traditional attire and take photos amidst the scenic beauty. Next, head to Leshan boat tour of the Leshan Giant Buddha, carved into the cliff of Mount Lingyun’s Qixia Peak. Standing at 71 meters tall, it is the world’s largest stone-carved Buddha, often described as “the mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is a mountain.” It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterward, continue to Mount Emei and check in at the Yiquan Bay Hot Spring Hotel. Take this opportunity to relax and enjoy a rejuvenating hot spring experience to unwind after a busy day.

This cableway connects Nan'an District and Yuzhong District, crossing over the Yangtze River, and has become a new landmark of the Chengdu-Chongqing metropolitan area. Stroll through the historic Danzishi Old Street to experience the old Chongqing charm. Then, head to Li Zi Ba Light Rail Station in the city center (take the train from JiaoChangkou to Li Zi Ba) and enjoy the scenic views of Chongqing from the light rail, experiencing the unique phenomenon of the light rail passing through a building. This is the first monorail station in China built within a commercial and residential building, a true architectural wonder. At night , enjoy the Nanbin Stret night view at your own expenses.

You can head to the Jiefangbei commercial area, Chongqing's oldest business center and home to the "Jiefangbei," China's only monument commemorating the victory in the Chinese War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. The nearby Bayi Road Food Street is a famous local snack hub where you can sample a wide variety of Chongqing delicacies (recommended dishes: Mountain City Soup Dumplings, Fat Mama's Saltwater Duck, Heji Xing Tofu Skin, Rose Rice Cake, Cold Noodles with Ice Powder, Sour and Spicy Noodles, Spicy Skewers, etc.).
