Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Frankfurt, a major financial hub and birthplace of the famed writer, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

DAY 2 FRANKFURT – MARBURG – KASSEL
On arrival, drive to Marburg in the Lahn Valley where the Brothers Grimm were inspired by the medieval flair of half-timbered houses, narrow alleys, steep steps and the imposing Landgrave palace.
Trace the Fairy Tale Pathway which weaves its way through Marburg and commemorates their stories with giant sculptures on houses, steps and walls.
Overnight in Kassel, the heart of the fairy tale route. The Brothers Grimm spent more than 30 years in the city and revised more than 200 fairy tales while staying here.

DAY 3 KASSEL: HAMELIN & GOETTINGEN
Travel to Hamelin where the folktale about the Pied Piper is portrayed. Enjoy a ‘Pied Piper’ guided tour bringing us to historic locals and famous spots evolving around the fairy tale.
Next, meet the world’s most kissed girl in Göttingen where the Brothers Grimm lived after they moved from Kassel. The old town, surrounded by the city wall, is well preserved and restored. The statue of the girl with geese in front of the town hall is kissed by all students who earned their doctor’s degree.

Drive to the best-preserved medieval town in Germany, Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It is also one of the most visited on the Romantic Road of Germany.
Stroll around the well-preserved medieval walls to see Markus & White Towers and the fairy-tale like Town Square. View the city’s largest St Jakob’s Church with its impressive twin towers.

DAY 5 ROTHENBURG OB DER TAUBER – FUSSEN
It is time for retail therapy as we drive to OutletCity in Metzingen where the brand Hugo Boss began in 1877. Enjoy discounts off the many flagship stores located in this outlet centre.
Spend the night in charming Fussen. Its old town is lined with Bavarian architecture and lovely cafes.

DAY 6 FUSSEN: TOP OF GERMANY & OBERAMMERGAU
Experience Germany’s highest attraction! Ascend 2962m to the ‘Top of Germany’, Zugspitze. Admire the matchless 360° panorama across a total of 400 peaks in 4 countries - Austria, Germany, Italy & Switzerland.
Proceed to Oberammergau which is famous for its Luftmalerei: frescoes of traditional Bavarian themes, fairy tales or religious scenes found on many homes and buildings and the world-famous Passion Play.

Visit ‘Mad King’ Lugwig’s fairy tale castle – Neuschwanstein Castle where the interior is as whimsical as the exterior. (Note: Visit to Hohenschwangau Castle if Neuschwanstein Castle is not available)
Continue to the Tyrolean capital Innsbruck. Start from the charming Old Town where the city’s greatest tourist attraction, The Little Golden Roof stands. Nearby is the Helbling House, an outstanding example of bourgeois grandeur.

DAY 8 INNSBRUCK – SALZBURG
Drive to Wattens for a visit to Swarovski Kristallwelten. Be awed by extraordinary art installations, flittering labyrinth where the boundaries between dream and reality are truly blurred.
Proceed to Salzburg, the home of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Follow our guide through countless narrow streets and famous squares in the Old Town to soak up the distinctive Salzburg atmosphere. Make a photo stop at No 9 Getreidegasse, the house where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born. Stroll through the beautiful Mirabelle Gardens which won everlasting fame thanks to the musical film ‘The Sound of Music’.

Drive to Prien, nestled along the banks of Lake Chiemsee. Take the boat on Bavaria’s biggest and prettiest lake to the island of Herrenchiemsee. Enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful Herrenchiemsee Castle built by the famous King Lugwig II.

Enter the city through the Medieval Gates, the first of the city’s fortifications. Enjoy the bustle of the Viktualienmarkt, an open-air market full of little stores selling wursts, fruits, flowers & cheese. Admire the spires of the Gothic style City Hall, onion-shaped domes of the Frauenkirche and the unique architecture of the Olympic Park.
