Day 1.
Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Haneda, one of two international airports serving the Greater Tokyo Area. Begin your long-awaited vacation.
Day 2.
Upon arrival, meet and greet by local guide and transfer to Nikko, Tochigi.
• Oya History Museum-Subterranean Cave – The exhibition features the long history of the mining since the 17th century, with many materials on display. The underground cavern, covering 20,000 sq. metres, is large enough to fit a baseball field.
• Nikko Toshogu – It is known for its elaborate and ornate architectural design, intricate wood carvings, and its historical and cultural significance. The shrine complex consists of multiple buildings, gates, and sacred areas set within a peaceful forested area.
• Shinkyo Bridge & Souvenir Street – At 28 meters long and nearly eight meters wide, the beautiful, vermilion-lacquered Shinkyo Bridge sits at the entrance to the Nikko mountains.
The bridge is ranked as one of Japan’s three finest.
• Lake Chuzenji – At an altitude of 1,269 meters, Chuzenji is Japan’s highest natural lake, with a 25-kilometer hiking trail along its perimeter.
• Kegon Falls – Has been designated one of Japan’s Three Most Beautiful Waterfalls. Water from Lake Chuzenji falls 97 metres straight down to the rocks below creating a dynamic and artistic work of nature.
