Spring (March to May)

Spring brings mild and pleasant weather, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C. It’s an ideal time to visit Shandong as the landscape blooms with colorful flowers.

Summer (June to August)

Summers in Shandong are warm to hot, with temperatures averaging between 25°C to 35°C. Be prepared for occasional rainfall and humidity.

Autumn (September to November)

Autumn is a comfortable season with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 25°C. The foliage turns vibrant, creating picturesque landscapes.

Winter (December to February)

Winters can be cold, with temperatures dropping to around -5°C to 5°C. Snowfall is possible, especially in northern Shandong.

Qingdao

Day 2.

  • Upon arrival, transfer to city.
  • Zhan Qiao – Zhanqiao in Qingdao is located at the southern end of the bustling Zhongshan Road, with its bridge extending like a curved crescent into the depths of Qingdao Bay. Zhanqiao is one of the attractions in the Qingdao Seaside Scenic Area and was among the first batch of 4A-level national tourist spots.
  • Exterior of the Catholic Church – The plan of the Qingdao Catholic Church forms a cross shape, with the main body of the church having two wings, each adorned with a spire topped by a giant cross measuring 4.5 meters in height. The Qingdao Catholic Church is the largest Catholic church and a Gothic architectural masterpiece in the Qingdao region. It is also the only consecrated church in China.
  • Guangxingli – Is an area on Dabao Island that boasts significant historical and artistic value. It is considered the “best” in terms of land size, courtyard area, population, and age, making it a crucial “starting point” for the urban planning and development of Qingdao. It is also a popular destination for internet-famous check-ins.
  • Xiaoyushan – It is a famous mountain in Qingdao and the closest one to the sea. Completed and opened to the public in 1985, it is the city’s first classical-style mountainous garden attraction.
  • Qingdao Governor’s Mansion – This is a German castle-style building with a European royal flair. Its design is elegant, decorations luxurious, contours graceful, and colors magnificent.
