Spring (March to May)
In Jiuzhaigou, spring is a season of rejuvenation. Temperatures range from 5°C to 15°C, with blooming flowers and budding trees creating a picturesque landscape. Mount Emei also sees a gradual increase in temperatures during this period, ranging from 10°C to 20°C.
Summer (June to August)
Jiuzhaigou experiences a pleasant summer with temperatures averaging between 15°C and 25°C. It’s a popular time for visitors, as the valleys are lush and vibrant. On Mount Emei, temperatures range from 15°C to 28°C, making it an ideal season for hiking.
Autumn (September to November)
Autumn brings a stunning array of colors to Jiuzhaigou as temperatures cool down. Expect temperatures between 5°C and 18°C. On Mount Emei, autumn temperatures range from 10°C to 20°C, offering a beautiful backdrop for exploring the mountain.
Winter (December to February)
Jiuzhaigou experiences cold winters with temperatures ranging from -5°C to 10°C. Snow-covered landscapes add a serene charm. Mount Emei can be chilly during winter, with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 10°C, making it a unique time to witness snow-capped peaks.
Day 1.
- Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Chengdu, China. Begin your long-awaited vacation.
- Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and rest.
Day 2.
- Diexi Lake – at an elevation of 2,258 meters above sea level, was originally the city of Diexi, an ancient frontier town. In the 1930s, an earthquake formed this barrier lake, making it the most complete, typical, and largest seismic relic still preserved today.
- Songpan Ancient Town (Exterior) – Songpan Ancient Town, once thriving during the Tang Dynasty, is also known as the Ancient City of Dazang. It earned the name Songzhou due to the towering pine trees that once covered the area. Today, the ancient town remains bustling and retains a vibrant atmosphere, making it a lively place to visit.
Day 3.
Jiuzhaigou – A scenic area located in the southern part of Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, in western China. It is situated over 400 kilometers away from Chengdu. The total area of Jiuzhaigou is 65,074.7 hectares. It got its name “Jiuzhaigou” because it is home to nine Tibetan villages located amidst a stunning landscape of high mountains and lakes.
