Spring (March to May)

Spring in Jiangnan brings mild temperatures, blooming flowers, and occasional rain showers, with average temperature ranging from 12°C to 20°C.

Summer (June to August)

Summers are hot and humid, with occasional thunderstorms, high humidity levels and average temperature ranging from 25°C to 33°C.

Autumn (September to November)

Autumn is pleasant with cooler temperatures, lower humidity, and colorful foliage. Average temperature ranging from 17°C to 26°C.

Winter (December to February)

Winters in Jiangnan are chilly but not extremely cold, with occasional light snowfall in some areas. Average temperature is usually between: 2°C to 10°C.

Day 1.

  • Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Shanghai, China. Begin your long-awaited vacation.
  • Upon arrival, transfer to Puyuan Fashion Ancient Town – It is the first ancient town along the Grand Canal after it flows out of the urban area of Jiaxing City. The core scenic area covers an area of 1,287 acres, bordered by Changshui to the south and nestled against the Grand Canal to the north, preserving the architectural layout and characteristics of the Jiangnan region.

Day 2.

  • Daytime Scenery of Puyuan Ancient Town
    • Beigeng Tower – Once built during the prosperous era of the Pu family, it symbolizes safeguarding peace in the region.
    • Guan Gong Temple – The only existing temple in the Jiangnan region dedicated to the Three Kingdoms general, Guan Yu. It was built in the fourth year of Ming Emperor Hongzhi’s reign.
    • Puyuan Chamber of Commerce – Puyuan was an ancient commercial town. The preserved and restored ‘Puyuan Chamber of Commerce’ at the original site represents the glorious commercial history of Puyuan, indicating the embryonic development of this bustling commercial town.
    • Yue Family Mansion – Renovated and expanded from the original old residence, featuring eaves adorned with stone-carved archways on the outer walls. It comprises a main hall, a library building, a stage, and annexes for accommodation.
    • Fushan Temple – With its solid wooden structure, yellow walls, and red tiles, the temple resonates with the sound of morning bells and evening drums. It stands as a symbolic cultural landscape of Puyuan, with three bridges outside the temple witnessing historical changes.
    • Shufang Zen Garden – It’s a cultural garden landscape that combines a theater and teahouse, along with a garden spot featuring Zen characteristics. From west to east, it is arranged with a Zen theater, a tea house, and a Zen garden.
  • Wuzhou Ancient City – It is a nationally rated 4A-level tourist attraction. Within the ancient city, historical streets, and lanes such as Bayong Road, Jiufang Lane, Gulou Lane, and Xichun Lane are well-preserved. It boasts prominent attractions like the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom’s King’s Residence, Bayong Tower, Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda, and the Baoning Gate.
