Day 3.

  • Great Ocean Road in Southern Victoria is one of the most impressive coastal destinations in Australia. It’s also one of the most beautiful scenic roads in the world. Today we will journey through stretch of stunning coastal view with exciting twists and turns.
  • Take a quick photo stop at the Memorial Arch at Eastern View, which is a wooden arch.
  • Cape Otway Light station – This is a nice area where we can enjoy beautiful coastal landscapes and visit Australia’s oldest surviving lighthouse ‘Beacon of Hope’ which is built in 1848.
  • Gibson Steps – Set along the glorious stretch of Great Ocean Road, the Gibson steps will take you down onto a length of lush beach. Be dwarfed by the 70-metre-high vertical cliffs and marvel at Gog and Magog, the nicknames given to the giant limestone stacks rising out of the sea. (Weather permitting to make your way down to the beach)
  • Twelve Apostle – This is the most iconic stop of the Great Ocean Road. Located in the heart of Port Campbell National Park. Despite the name, there are never 12 rocks standing but only 8 and now it’s only 7 of them still standing (one collapsed in 2005). These group of limestone rocks stacks just off the shore is one of the most photographed spots in Australia.
  • Loch Ard Gorge – Just a short distance away from the Twelve Apostle, you will find another beautiful coastal landscape at Loch Ard Gorge. Which is also another ‘must’ stop on the Great Ocean Road. See the small inlet and sand beach surrounded tall limestone cliffs all around it.
  • London Bridge – It’s a natural arch shaped by erosion and powerful waves that used to be connected to the mainland via a natural ‘bridge’ that had 2 arches which looks like a stone bridge (It has collapsed in 1990).
  • The Grotto – Another incredible rock formation and one of the interesting sights on the Great Ocean Road. This blowhole offers nice sea view and photo opportunities.
