Winter in Dali is cool, and it can get chilly, especially at night. Temperatures usually range from 2°C to 15°C. While it rarely snows in Dali, the surrounding mountains may have snowfall, creating a beautiful winter scenery.

  • Experience the Bai Tea Ceremony, a ritual steeped in tradition. Observe tea preparation and sample three varieties—bitter, sour, sweet— signifying life’s journey from hardship to joy.
  • Explore Zhoucheng, a lively Bai culture center renowned for its unique tie-dye creations. Partake in traditional tie-dying with locals, using indigo dyes and rudimentary tools to craft stunning patterns on cotton fabric.
