Wet Season (May to October)
The wet season is characterized by high temperatures and heavy rainfall. The rain can cause flooding in some regions, and travel to remote areas may be difficult due to washed-out roads. However, the landscapes are lush and green, and waterfalls and rivers are at their fullest. This season is also considered to be the low season for tourism, which means fewer crowds.
Dry Season (November to April)
The dry season is characterized by cooler temperatures and low humidity. This is a popular time to visit Laos for outdoor activities like trekking, cycling, and kayaking. The landscapes may be drier and less green, but cultural sites and temples are still impressive to visit.
