Spring (March to May)

Autumn (September to November)

Autumn in Hokkaido is a spectacular season, with the leaves of the deciduous trees turning vibrant shades of yellow, orange, and red. Temperatures begin to drop, ranging from 5°C to 15°C, and the crisp air makes it perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking and exploring the beautiful nature of the island.

Winter (December to February)

Winter in Hokkaido is a snowy wonderland, with temperatures dropping to -10°C to -15°C. The island is known for its world-class ski resorts, where visitors can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports. The Sapporo Snow Festival, held in February, is one of the most popular winter events in Japan, where you can see massive ice sculptures and enjoy winter activities.

Day 1.

Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Hokkaido via Haneda, Japan. Begin your longawaited vacation.

Day 2.

Upon arrival, meet & greet by guide & proceed to Asahikawa.

Asahikawa Heiwa Street – The 1-kilometer-long pedestrian paradise, is the main street of Asahikawa, and was established in 1972 as Japan’s first permanent pedestrian paradise, and is lined with a variety of stores, from large-scale stores and various specialty stores to beauty salons and restaurants.

Day 3.

Asahiyama Zoo – Is a very popular zoological garden just outside of central Asahikawa City. Its popularity lies in the enclosures which allow visitors to observe the animals from various angles, many of which are unique to Asahiyama Zoo.

Kurodake Ropeway – Is a 1984 meter high peak that towers over Sounkyo Onsen in central Hokkaido. Thanks to a ropeway and chair lift, the mountain is one of the most easily accessible major peaks in Daisetsuzan National Park and a popular entry point for hikes into the interior of the national park.

Ryusei-Ginga Falls – A 24-km stretch of columnar jointing cliffs, the Sounkyo Gorge, which has been carved deep by the Ishikari River, features many waterfalls cascading down it. Among them, the Ryusei-Ginga Falls, with two waterfalls flowing side by side, is so spectacular that it has been selected as one of the Top 100 Waterfalls in Japan.

Hyobaku Festival – The annual Sounkyo Ice Fall Festival has been running for over 40 years now, and it celebrates the beauty of the harsh, cold winters that this part of Hokkaido is known for.
